CUSTOMS LAW AND INTERNATIONAL TRADE
The firm stands out for the high level of expertise achieved in customs law, with particular regard to the tariff classification of the products according to the combined nomenclature, to the interpretation of its headings and subheadings, to the application of the rules concerning the preferential or non-preferential origin, the repayment, remission and waiver of the post-clearance entry in the accounts of customs duties, tariff quotas, determination of the customs value of imported goods, binding tariff information.
The firm assists its clients before the European Commission and the EU Courts (General Court and Court of Justice of the European Union), as well as before the Italian customs authorities (Agenzia delle Dogane, Ministero delle Finanze) and the national administrative, tax, civil and criminal courts, even of last instance.
The firm also provides advice and assistance regarding anti-dumping and anti-subsidy matters and on issues relating to the application of WTO rules.
Among its customers the firm counts companies and associations of primary importance active, inter alia, in the import, export and marketing of textiles and agro-foods (including fruit and vegetables, fish, meat and canned products).
