Over the years the firm has developed a specific expertise in assisting Italian companies and associations active in Belgium in various areas of commercial and corporate law. It provides advice and assistance on matters relating to distribution, agency, franchising and intellectual and industrial property. It assists its clients in assessing the compatibility with Belgian and European Union law of their distribution and commercial communication systems. It also provides advice and assistance with regard to the incorporation of companies or the creation of subsidiaries in Belgium as well as to the definition of powers and responsibilities of their managers. It further performs debt collection activities for selected clients, assisting also with the filing of claims in insolvency proceedings. The firm counts, among its clients, several Italian groups of primary importance in key sectors, such as textile, clothing and food.
